about me
I’m a Ballarat local with a passion for photography, art and live music.
For over 20 years - I’ve been immersed in the world of photography, with my first camera being an Olympus with only 1.4 megapixels.
In 2023, I decided to share some of my work from a trip to China, and try my hand at festival photography at the first Intrinsic Gathering. The feedback and encouragement was what made me decide to take the leap and launch Wades Lens Event Photography.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved in shooting for music festivals, DJ’s, live bands and live events in the adult entertainment industry. In 2024 I completed Certificate 3 Visual Arts (Photography) at Oxygen College Ballarat, and currently enrolled in Certificate 4 in Photography for 2025.
I specialise in capturing raw, candid moments with a flair for composition and dramatic effect. I always strive to remain true to style - but take a holistic approach to photography, taking in all factors and finessing my technical skill to ensure the client receives exactly what they want.
When I’m off the clock - I’m a huge fan of vintage technology - pushing old Canon Powershots to their limits to create digital art, or shooting on film to dial it back and appreciate photography in its raw form.
